PatrickI (Patrick) was diagnosed with liver and large intestines cancer in July 1991. My chances of survival were one in a thousand and maybe another six to eight months to live. Like all of you diagnosed with a similar prognosis, I was thunderstruck. I was only 40 years old and could not believe it could be the end.
One of my friends had been diagnosed with lung cancer a few years previously, and she cured herself by following a Macrobiotic diet. I read a couple of books on this way of life and decided to try it.
I booked an appointment with Denny Waxman, one of those days' top Macrobiotic consultants. Denny told me that I had the body of an old man due to my dietary practice. He confirmed the doctor's diagnosis and suggested that if I wanted to live longer, I should join a Macrobiotic course.
I followed the course between September 1991 and December 1993 and furthered my education after that by writing consultation notes for Denny.
- I changed my diet and lifestyle
- I used herbal remedies and supplements
- I cleaned my liver and other organs to remove toxic heavy metals and other poisons
- I removed the virus that is always present with cancer of the liver
To cut a long story short, I am now 72 years old and do not suffer from any aches, pains or diseases. I can walk and run without assistance. I am fit and healthy.
