Liver and kidney detox is essential. These two organs are responsible for the removal of toxins from the body. If they don't work correctly, toxins accumulate, and illness follows.
Your liver arguably is the most crucial organ in the body.
It performs over 2,000 functions.
Filtering
Bile production
The liver produces bile for the digestion of fat. It keeps doing this well unless we have abused it with fat eating for many years. When this is the case, it will stop generating enough bile. The fat that has not been dealt with may then start accumulating in the arteries, the heart, or the brain (stroke).
Fatty liver is a widespread condition today, and recently, I was amazed to read somebody blaming fruits for this disease.
Stomach support
The liver supports the stomach and helps it produce the proper hydrochloric acid (HA). A weak liver will cause the quantity of stomach HA to diminish, and food digestion will be impaired. Trouble, trouble...
By Kiney org:
"The critical regulation of the body's salt, potassium and acid content is performed by the kidneys. The kidneys also produce hormones that affect the function of other organs. For example, a hormone produced by the kidneys stimulates red blood cell production. Other hormones produced by the kidneys help regulate blood pressure and control calcium metabolism."
We are constantly surrounded by a toxic environment that affects our liver and kidneys. The worst poison is mercury. It may have been acquired from our mother or father at birth. It may also have been accumulated when we ate seafood, had a dental filling or breathed as it is in the air — it is impossible to avoid.
When combined with a virus and fat, toxic heavy metals are responsible for triggering diseases such as cancer, neurological issues such as brain fog, and many more.
Removing some of the above poisons with foods and herbs to facilitate a Liver and kidney detox is possible.
My Avoid vegan diet pitfalls e-book tells you what food is good and which is bad.
A quick preview: Barley grass with spirulina is excellent to remove Toxic Heavy
Metals, so are raw organic blueberries (not so much the cultivated
ones). Many other foods or herbs can help you detoxify.
Chlorella has long been suggested as a way to remove metals, but it doesn't work very well. Often, chlorella will pick up the metals from one part of the body and drop them before reaching our body's exit.
